A quick and easy meal for weeknight dinner, these pork chops can be marinated in advance and cooked up in a skillet in 20 min. Ingredients 3.19 lbs chops 1/3 c maple syrup 1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt, or 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/3 c Oyster sauce 5 cloves garlic, roughly chopped 1/4 cup soy sauce Fresh ground peppercorns Garnish Shiso leaves Purple Basil Green Chili Sauce Mix all the ingredients together, and marinade the pork chops for 3 hours in fridge. If you are looking for a quick dinner, prepare this in the morning or the night before. Take the pork chops out of the fridge and grill it to an internal temperature of 71 C or 160 F, about 10 minutes each side, depending on the thickness of your chops. While the chops are cooking, take the marinade and cook it in a sauce pan, reducing it by 1/2. If you let it go too long because you are busy taking pictures and find it too thick, you can always add water. ;)
Let the pork chops rest 3 minutes and brush with the cooked glaze. Garnish with shiso leaves and purple basil. Serve with Green Chili Sauce.

It's my first time to hear about maple glazed pork chops. I am sure you felt the same way when you first hear about it too. It might sound weird but once you tried it, it really tastes good. I am happy that more people are now sharing their recipes online. It makes it easier for people like me who knew nothing about cooking, to become instant chefs especially now that there are a lot of kitchen equipments who make everything easier. I am going to browse for more recipes and have my mother check if I did it right.

Grilled recipes are really my thing. I must say that grilled patties are my favorite actually. But of course, look at what I have found today. It looks like I already have a suggestion for this coming weekend because they are trying to ask for my opinion on what food we can possibly have on that night. I will gladly tell them that this maple glazed pork chops will be the best food to prepare. I can't think of any reason they will not welcome the idea since everything is already here on this blog.
