With the holidays coming up, parties abound. Whether you are hosting, or invited to a potluck, it is a good idea to serve a variety of flavours to give your guests choices to suit their preferences. By using our sauces as marinades, you can easily make three flavours of chicken for your guests.
We used 15 drumsticks for this recipe, but forgot to note the weight of the package. We will update this post the next time we are at Metro (a Canadian grocery store).
You will need 3 bowls (or 3 ziplock bags) to marinade the chicken in.
Pour the Spicy Pineapple sauce into the first bowl, the Green Chili Sauce into the second bowl, and into the third bowl, mix the Jeow Bong and maple syrup together.
Divide your drumsticks between the three bowls, making sure the chicken is coated evenly, and marinate in the fridge over night, or 8 hours.
Cover an oven tray with aluminum foil, place the chicken on the tray, and scoop out the sauces to cover the chicken. Bake 45 min at 400F (205C), or until chicken is no longer pink inside, or until a meat thermometer reads 160F (72C)
Put on a platter, and enjoy your party!
